5 Things I’m Excited About For Fall

1. Teaching yoga

How are you enjoying your fall so far? I’m excited about a lot of things this season, and this first one really surprised me. I had no idea that I was going to be teaching weekly classes at my home on my yoga deck. I had just come off of 2.5 years of not teaching yoga, and honestly, I wasn’t sure if I would ever be teaching yoga again. Here I am welcoming women to my home week after week. I’m so grateful for this unexpected gift from the Universe. I share the whole story about why I stopped teaching yoga…and why I’ve started up again over on my Instagram. 2. MY YOGA EBOOK

I’m a busy mother of 4 who helps women and moms just like YOU achieve their goals on the path toward optimal health. I know how hard it can be to take care of yourself when you’re overly anxious, not sleeping well, and you’re constantly showing up to take care of everyone else. 3. BETTER SLEEP

As the kids’ schedules get busier with autumn commitments and activities, I’m so grateful to have found an evening hemp wellness routine that helps me get calm for better sleep. I call the Full Spectrum Nano Jellies my “Mama Calm” jellies. I take one jelly every day around 5pm to get grounded so that I can be present with my kids’ evening routines. I’ll take my evening bath with the Luxury Bath Fizz with hemp flower extract to relax my muscles. Closer to bedtime around 9pm I’ll take one of my favorite Sleep Better Nano Jellies and also a dropper-full of Organic Boost Sleep Tincture to help me unwind before sleep.

4. MORE TIME IN MY KITCHEN

By now you’ve noticed how obsessed I am with cooking. As a student of Ayurveda, I love to allow myself to be inspired by the seasonal offerings at the farmers’ market. When I get home, I love to chop up root veggies and roast them in a sheet pan in the oven. I add cumin, paprika, onion salt, garlic salt, and, while the veggies are roasting, I always make a sauce to pour over the vegetables. My kids love my yogurt-inspired tzatziki. Once the veggies come out, I simply pour the sauce over the veggies, and everyone digs in. I’m so excited that autumn is here, as I get to spend more time in my happy place—my kitchen. 5. COLD PLUNGING

When people ask me what I think promotes my health the most, I tell them all about my passion with…COLD PLUNGING!

I am so fortunate to have a cold plunge directly in my home gym, so I have access to it every day…in other words, there are no excuses to keep me from doing it! We keep ours between 42 and 44 Degrees Fahrenheit—it’s crazy cold… like uncomfortable cold, but I do it at least four times a week for five minutes each time, because I’m learning about all of the extreme health benefits.
